A generous window of time between the closing sale and move-in allowed us to tackle the entire project in four phases: 1) main floor (more than twelve rooms, including master and guest suites, two half baths, kitchen/dining, back porch, laundry) 2) upstairs suite, 3) front porch and separate garage 4) back patio hardscaping and landscaping
Front facade and entryway
- Replaced front stoop with a 40′ wide covered porch with supporting columns, brick facing, and epi wood railings
- Coffered ceiling with shiplap treatment for main entry hallway
Kitchen
- 20′ vaulted ceiling with exposed beams
- Removed bay window and dividing walls to family and dining rooms
- 10′ island with retractable-vent cooktop
Dining Room
- Coffered ceiling with shiplap treatment
- Double-sided display cabinets with wine fridge
Family Room
- Removed wall to kitchen to create a 15′ open span
- Wetbar with open shelving
- Custom-crafted fireplace mantle
Master Suite
- Bedroom with painted original paneling and French doors to the bathroom
- Freestanding soaker tub in bath; double vanities and curbless shower
