A generous window of time between the closing sale and move-in allowed us to tackle the entire project in four phases: 1) main floor (more than twelve rooms, including master and guest suites, two half baths, kitchen/dining, back porch, laundry) 2) upstairs suite, 3) front porch and separate garage 4) back patio hardscaping and landscaping 

Front facade and entryway 

  • Replaced front stoop with a 40′ wide covered porch with supporting columns, brick facing, and epi wood railings
  • Coffered ceiling with shiplap treatment for main entry hallway
Kitchen 
  • 20′ vaulted ceiling with exposed beams
  • Removed bay window and dividing walls to family and dining rooms
  • 10′ island with retractable-vent cooktop
Dining Room 
  • Coffered ceiling with shiplap treatment
  • Double-sided display cabinets with wine fridge
Family Room
  • Removed wall to kitchen to create a 15′ open span
  • Wetbar with open shelving
  • Custom-crafted fireplace mantle

Master Suite 

  • Bedroom with painted original paneling and French doors to the bathroom
  • Freestanding soaker tub in bath; double vanities and curbless shower
  • Walk-in closet with custom shelving

Upstairs Suite

  • Open plan with built-in shelving, walk-in closet, window dormers
  • Full kitchen, full bath

Back Porch

  • Added to existing brick patio and foundation
  • Gable roof with exposed beams
  • Whitewashed tongue & groove ceiling with skylights
  • Epi wood railings with metal balusters
