Client Goals: Transform the walkout basement access to a sloping yard into a more useable outdoor grilling and entertainment patio.
Our Solution: We collaborated with a partner landscaping company to built up a level 60’ x 30’ paving stone patio from the yard grade. 6×6 posts shore up the overhanging sunroom, and the ceiling was finished with stained beaded board, recessed lights, and ceiling fans. Stacked-stone was used to face the existing foundation, build the raised firepit, and create the enclosure for the grill, oven, and bar. The granite-topped prep area has a barsink, under-counter fridge, seating for seven, and a wall-mounted outdoor TV.
