The GreatHouse Difference: Our Preconstruction Process

GreatHouse will develop an existing floorplan of your home or the affected areas and then develop a schematic design, that is, a detailed footprint and floorplan of your newly remodeled home.
Our design team will meet with you to review the schematic design and make any changes you’d like to get to a first draft of your floorplan – this is not a final floorplan, but one that is directionally correct. This includes 3D-rendered views of your space!
Next, we will conduct a pricing exercise to get you a preliminary price range based on the schematic design, using placeholder values for finishes that have yet to be selected.

Once we are aligned on the schematic design and preliminary price range, we get started on the details: cabinetry design, selections, and finishes, and final footprint/layout decisions.
Once the design is finalized and all selections have been made, we build your construction documents, collect trade partner pricing, and present you with a final contract for construction.
