East Cobb Primary Bathroom Renovation

This stunning remodel in East Cobb took a tired, stuffy primary bath and turned it into a light-filled space worthy of royalty.

This project included a full remodel of the primary bathroom, including a stunning modern barn door entry that sets the tone for the craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout this truly timeless space.

The homeowners knew they were going to stay in their home for at least another decade, and they were tired of living in the dark, dingy bathroom of the 80s that came with the house. The bathroom felt heavy, and given the huge windows and vaulted ceilings, they knew it could be something so much better. The bones were there, but they needed some help bringing the vision of what this space could be to life. That’s where GreatHouse stepped in.

In this primary bath remodel, the focus was much more on the finishes than the flow. The room already had a decent layout, and all that was needed was a new take on a formerly drab space. By combining the previously separated vanities, we were able to create a dedicated beauty station in a tucked away corner of the room. The shower expanded substantially with a curbless entry, frameless glass enclosure, and marble tile throughout. The marble shower walls were carried over to the adjacent vanity area, creating a stunning backdrop for the vanity wall that serves as the primary focal point as you enter the room. A freestanding tub replaced the bulky built-in spa from decades past, giving the space a much more open-air feel. The icing on the cake was the stunning hand-made barn door, that somehow seamlessly blended rustic and elegant for the perfect entry to this luxurious bath retreat.
